Both of these dudes are ready to tear up the stage here on Sunday the 9th - to make this one a little less scary, a little bit more Blues-y, and to add a whole lot of Southern Soul to our Sunday candy as we start the week off CORRECT. They’ve both been touring the US non stop all year long on independent runs - hitting places like NYC and Chicago, Pensacola and everywhere across the Grand Prairie (the town and the Midwest) - and now, they’ve got one more for us right here in Missouri at our very own Cable Arena for the R&B and Southern Soul Fest - popping up right here on November 9th.
October London is an R&B Singer and Songwriter signed to Death Row Records and the mastermind behind the October Nights tour - which is named after his latest album that was released in October 2024. October has humble beginnings - he was born in South Bend, Indiana, and he constantly mentions how his family’s musical history (his mom a singer and his dad a guitar player) is what always brought them all together, and what inspired him to pursue his own career goals - first as a pianist, and then into singing. That led to him releasing the politically charged Black Man in America single in late 2015, and getting signed to Snoop Dogg’s Cadillac Records six months later. Since then, London has been on a dominating run - releasing hit EPs and singles year over year, including songs like Back To Your Place, and has made appearances on shows like Empire and The Soul Train Music Awards. He has toured with Wiz Khalifa and Snoop, and produced music for TV shows and Martha Stewart. The only question now is - what’s next for Mr.London? Well, after the Southern Soul Fest that is.
And then we got the legacy legend also headlining this joint - Anthony Hamilton y’all. Coming from Charlotte, North Carolina, he cut his teeth writing and singing background before breaking through with his 2003 classic Comin’ From Where I’m From. That album made him an R&B staple, earning platinum success and GRAMMY nominations. His soul-drenched storytelling and Southern grit brought him collaborations with legends like Al Green, Jill Scott, and more. Over the years he’s won a GRAMMY and continues to headline as one of R&B’s most beloved live performers. Together, Fantasia and Anthony Hamilton represent longevity, authenticity, and timeless artistry — two legends sharing the stage, still electrifying crowds decades into their careers. And that’s exactly why you gotta catch them here for The R&B and Soul Fest, right here at The Cable!
Don’t wait folks - time to jam. Invite all your friends and family who like to two step - ‘cause on November 9th, we party! See ya real soon.
